Sharp R930AK Microwave. How do I change a door latch on it please?

Question edited for clarity.Question moved from Misc to make model category.Unlikely you can get parts and it is a job for professional service anyway. Error code on keypad EE L before screen went out.

Hi

Error code EE means temperature sensor issue. This error appears when the oven temperature turns bad or when a high temperature is detected by the sensor. Try and unplug the range for 1-2 hours and check if this clears the error. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

My microwave won't pop popcorn - how can I check if it needs to be serviced?

Humbly suggest 1) microwaves cannot be serviced. They either work or they do not. If they do not, most people will discard them. 2) Please do not rush to throw this one away. If it will heat water, it may be just fine. Sometimes popcorn gets old and stale, and it will absorb moisture, and become un-popable. Try the machine on a lot of different tests and see if it is really bad. God bless your efforts.

How do I set my sharp atomic clock. Put in new batteries and set time and date on back of clock but the outside temp is not registering?

That makes scence, you have to have an outside temperature probe. If it is wireless it also needs batteries. Check manual for more details.

Can your microwave work without mica cover?

It can be, but it's not recommended. Food can splatter and get into the waveguide and cause problems. Also if you reach in there with your finger right after the microwave stops, you can get a severe shock (until the capacitor discharges, usually in about a minute). Also the edge is sharp.
