How do I go about downloading java script?

Java script is native to all browsers. You may have it disabled. You will have to go into your browsers settings and enable java script within your browser. If you have any plugins such as "No Script" then you will need to disable them or uninstall them for Java script to work properly again.
If you meant to ask how to download Java (it is different than java script) then you would visit http://www.java.com and download the software and install.
Seeing as you posted this as a Facebook problem I would be satisfied to say that your problem is java script is disabled in your browser settings.

Unable to access jarfile c:\Program Files\Java\jre6\lib\librtexec.jar

sounds like this would be a java-script error. you can try re-install java-script http://www.java.com/en/download/ it might be a good idea before you re-install, to uninstall any instance of java from the control panel - add/remove programs, or programs and features section for vista/windows 7

If you have no java runtime environment or have not been updated, you can update java and try this link.http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp. And I have flash player 8 which was downloaded together with the macromedia dreamweaver. You can search that in google and request for a dwonload.

How i install js script software

Java-script is a scripting language interpreted by you browser and is not installed on you PC like compiled software. Java, which is a programming language is installed by downloading JRE for www.sun.com.

If you browser is not running Java-script while viewing web-page, (eg: youtube) that is in you browser options, you probably need to enable JS in you settings. google "enable javascript YourBrowserGoesHere".

When visiting a site such as Friends Reunited I cannot view the site as I keep getting a message up with a yellow exclamation mark in a triangle saying: Error in addLoadEvent:(object error). I have typed...

It appears to be a Java script error.
The chances are some pages your are visiting are using Java script to deliver multilayer messages or adverts.
If you didn't have Java script installed on your machine you would get an error along the lines of "page was unable to load" so I am guessing your Java script needs updating.
Go to this site: http://www.java.com/en/ you can either download Java or have the site check your computer to see if it has the latest copy(easiest method).
