Polaris Sportsman 94 400L. How to fix a no spark problem.

Old Question!https://www.google.com/search?q=Polaris+Sportsman+94+400L.+How+to+fix+a+no+spark+problemTo fix a no-spark issue on a Polaris Sportsman 400L, systematically check the spark plug, kill switch (unplug the black wire from the CDI to test), ignition coil (check grounds, wiring, and resistance), and the pulse coil (under the magneto cover, adjust its gap to the flywheel magnet). A faulty stator, CDI, or a corroded connection in the kill switch wiring are common culprits; test resistances with a multimeter and ensure all grounds are clean and tight. Quick Checks & BasicsSpark Plug: Remove, inspect for fouling (oil/fuel), and check the gap (0.028-0.035 inches usually).Kill Switch/Safety: Disconnect the black wire at the CDI module; if it sparks now, the kill switch or related wiring is faulty.Battery: Ensure it's charged, as a weak battery can affect ignition.

I have an Arctic Cat EXT 580 EFI. It seems there is no power to ignition switch. I turn the key on and don't hear the EFI working.

If the voltage drops below 11 volts, EFI does not work. All new batteries should be fully charged at home before use.

2006 Polaris Liberty 700. Why won't my digital readout come on please?

A bad connection plug is the most likely reason. They get corroded.

Working on a 2005 Polaris Predator 500. I changed the timing chain, took out friction plates and basket put back together. I move the shifter and it's like I have no gears. What did I do wrong?

Incorrectly assembled. Was there a half moon key on the shaft and did you replace it? It says it is on a tapered shaft. Disassemble and refer very carefully to the Service Manual. https://www.google.com/search?q=2005+polaris+predator+500+replace+clutch ..

Kawasaki, ATV mule 610 2010 model

ATV won't start, no lights, parking brake light out - quick diagnostics and fixes

  • Immediate suspects
    • Faulty ignition switch or starter relay; they can cut power to instruments and starter while the battery still tests good.
    • Poor ground or corroded main battery connections causing voltage loss under load.
    • Main fuse, fusible link, or a hidden battery cutoff/kill switch open despite accessory fuses testing OK.
    • Faulty battery under load (surface charge reads full but voltage collapses when loaded).
    • Stuck safety/interlock (brake, neutral, seat) or a failed parking-brake sensor wiring shorting the start circuit.
  • Step?by?step checks (do them in order)
    1. Verify battery voltage at the battery terminals with a multimeter: resting voltage should be ~12.6 V or higher.
    2. With key on, measure voltage at the ignition switch output and at the accessory fuse block. If battery is good but ignition output is 0 V, suspect ignition switch or main fuse/cutoff.
    3. Inspect and clean both battery terminals and the negative chassis ground where the cable attaches; tighten firmly and re-test.
    4. Check the big main fuse / fusible link near the battery or starter; even if panel fuses look OK, main fusible link can be blown.
    5. Try a jump start from a known-good battery or portable starter pack while someone turns the key; if lights and starter work, the battery may be weak under load or there's a high-resistance connection.
    6. Locate and test the starter relay/solenoid: swap with another identical relay if available or test for click and continuity when key is turned.
    7. Bypass ignition switch temporarily (only if you know what you're doing): jump battery positive to ignition input of starter relay to see if it cranks - if it does, the ignition switch is faulty.
    8. Inspect wiring around parking-brake switch and neutral/seat interlocks for damage, corrosion, or disconnected plugs that could prevent starting or power to dash lights.
    9. If no lights at all, trace from battery positive to main distribution - look for burned connectors, melted insulation, or aftermarket cutoff switches.
  • Likely fixes
    • Clean/tighten or replace bad battery cables and ground straps.
    • Replace failed ignition switch or starter relay/solenoid.
    • Replace a blown main fuse or fusible link.
    • Repair or replace damaged interlock wiring or parking?brake sensor.
    • Replace battery if it fails a load test.
  • If you want a targeted next step now
    • Jump-start the unit and watch whether dash lights come on and whether the starter clicks; tell me the result and I'll tell you exactly which component to test next.
