Cannot get close caption off the screen. comes on every time I turn it on. tried settings, closed caption and setting it to off. nothing works.

I cant turn off my closed caption on my dynex tv cause when i go to menu,andset up, i cant highlight the "closed caption" setting . it is greyed out and wont let me click on the option to turn it off
