Broken handle
Send it to a lock smith. The outfit that makes these locks are being sued because of the way they can break apart in seconds.

Try loosening the collar as much as possible and access the poke hole. I'm not sure how you managed to get the handle on, You might need to drill the collar, but if drilled while the collar is loose, the damage could be hidden. Good luck! Replacement collars are available, if all else fails.
What, besides battery failure , causes 4009-9201 panel battery trouble alert on 4010.
My problem turned out to be with the board and the output of the charger was too low. It needs to be about 27.5 volts. The transformer was okay but the circuit that controlled the output was bad and even with adjusting the potentiometer we could not get the charger to put out the correct voltage. The fix was a new board from Simplex. We got a deal as the tech that came out had the board on his van . Labor and parts were $1,100.00. We get a lot of spikes where we are in Arizona and suspect that a bit of a jolt from a spike or nearby lightning strike wounded the board. A surge protector can help but a hard hit will toast this board. The trouble sensor looks for a full output charge or it will show a trouble
Hope that helps

Look it over and call an installation company if it doesn't look like something you want to attempt.
