Your TV is asking you about its V-Chip lock code. There will be a V-Chip lock code you have given it earlier. If you forget that code, please repost your porblem with the exact model number of your TV. If you have its user manual refer to it. There will be instructions about how to change the passcode which you did forget. OK.

Hi, When a Sim card is inserted, And the phone askes for Puk code, type in the Puk code and itwill ask you for a new pin , because the former code you where using before is no more longer functioning again,so you will need to type in another new pin code of your choice.

Hope you understand.When it asks for a new Pin,think of any pin and type. then your done.

The default PIN code is 0000.


If you changed it and forgot the PIN code please contact your service provider. They will provide you the default PIN code so that you can use your phone.


While you get the PIN code, service provider will ask for your personal details to check whether the mobile belongs to you only. If they are satisfied with your answers they will provide with the PIN code


This PIN code is FREE. You no need to pay any sum to get the PIN code

PUK codeand PIN Code: Pleasedont try more than 3 times.If you try more than 3 times the Sim will getlocked.And it will ask for PIN code.Both these PUK and PIN code can be givenonly by the network service provider. Please call the network service providerof your mobile.And ask him to provide the PUK code or PIN code.He will ask yousome basic details like name,date of birth for his verification.And hewill provide you the PUK and PINcode.This is done for free of cost.

The PIN code which it asks after you enter the PUK is a new PIN code.You need to enter a PIN which ever you want to set and it asks for verification and once verfied it will set that PIN code as your new PIN code.

Please dont try more than 3 times.If you try more than 3 times the Sim will get locked.And it will ask for PIN code.Both these PUK and PIN code can be given only by the network service provider. Please call the network service provider of your mobile.And ask him to provide the PUK code or PIN code.He will ask you some basic details like name,date of birth for his verification.And he will provide you the PUK and PIN code.This is done for free of cost.

T-mobile nokia phone ask to enterpin..i enter my password and it wont activate and continues to ask for my pin then it asks for a puk code
Hi,

For NOKIA mobile the default PIN is 0000 and Security Code is 12345.

It asks PUK code because you must have entered wrong PIN code more than 3 times,To get the PUK code you should call your serivce provider.
They will give you the PUK code if you provide correct informations of yours.They do this to make sure that the mobile belongs to you only.
After entering the PUK code it asks for your PIN code so please type the PIN code which you want and remember it.

Hello,

the new pin code means you should enter any pin code of your choice.

Any pin code you enter at this point will be what your phone will recognize.

So you have to forge a pin code that you can easily remember. If possible write the pin code out in your dairy so that you can fall back to it in case you forget the pin code.

In summary, the new pin your phone is asking of is telling you to forge a pin code.

If you forget the SIM PIN CODE, or it asks you for PIN CODE:

PIN CODE is SIM dependenet and not phone dependent

PUK code in PIN UNLOCKING CODE, which is required when you give PIN number wrongly for 3 times,
This code is OPERATOR specific and not phone specific and you have to call you operator and get PUK if PIN is blocked...

if you provide PUK code wrongly for 7 time, you sim may become useless, then you have to buy new SIM

NOTE: You should ask your service provider,get the PUK, give the PIN 3 times wrongly and it asks for PUk,provide the PUK and set the new PIN..

HOLD ON!
You may enter wrong PIN three (3) times only. After that your PIN will be blocked! To unblock, you need PUK. You can only enter wrong PUK ten (10) times. (This is as documented) After entering correct PUK, you will be asked for NEW PIN.

So, when it says "PIN blocked. Enter PUK code", you must enter the PUK. If you correctly enter the PUK, it will asked for new PIN, by asking "Enter new PIN code:". Enter anything you want as your PIN. You will be asked to enter it twice (two times).
From what I read from your post, you have done correctly, but you don't want to enter new PIN. There is no way SIM card/phone will use old PIN. The device doesn't know your PIN. So, you have to enter new PIN.
