I need to replace the pull string on my toro personal pace mower. The toro part appears to be riveted to the body of the mower. All other mowers the part you need to remove to attach the pull string to is accessable by simply removing some screws. Am I missing something?

If I'm not mistaken, I had one like this once. I think when you purchase the new one, it comes with screws. You have to drill out the rivets to replace the recoil assembly. Try calling to purchase a new assembly and question them.
