SOURCE: Using

Hello and thank you for using Fixya's services.

First, I would recommend erasing all of your temporary files. This can be done by opening Internet Explorer, click on tools and choose Internet options. Click on the tab labeled, general and delete browsing history and cookies, offline files, temp. pages, etc.

There is a file, more than likely a hijacker txt file in the temporary pages making the system shut down.

After this is complete, reboot and run a full scan to get rid of all mal-ware and/or trojans. Delete all unnecessary toolbars, etc. I recommend kaspersky and you can get the free trial from their website.

* Tip: Never have two anti-viruses on the same machine.

Lastly, upgrade Windows to service pack 2 as I see your computer hasn't automatically downloaded even service pack 1. This is very important and will keep the computer safe from hackers, etc. You can do this by going to start button and type in windows update on the search bar. This will bring up the auto updates and allow you to run a manual upgrade and install.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Glad to help!

SOURCE: Una to reinstall. Get this MX:

You have to check that the disc you are installing from is not damaged or if it is a burned copy is not a bad copy.

Anytime you get this error during a reinstall or install of windows it is due to the installation disc having a problem. occassionally you will find a bad drive but rarely the case.

My friend, your cd nor dvd rom are not working properly try to use an external dvd connected to the computers usb port, then re-install your your sofware. If it still does'nt work, replace the dvd or cd disk then re-install it again. Have a nice day friend.

you have a missing mp4 file! this is a video file. just do a search on your computer for all "*.mp4" files with this same name and when found copy/paste into the location in your missing file message.
