Invalid format when connecting Dell Latitude to 42 inch LG flat panel it shows "invalid format" on the tv.

    i have the same issue going from a d600 laptop to a 42inch lg - only happens when using dock

    Same problem here with a 42LG70. Screen shows the usual boot info, Bios loading, memory testing, and Windows XP load screen, but just when it gets to the point where it should show the desktop, the screen goes black and after a few seconds, the "invalid format" message comes up on the screen.

    Windows XP works OK, but Linux does not. I am running 1280x768@60Hz on both setups.

My xbox 360 when hooked up to my 42inch Lc7d get sound but displays invalid format error,  how can this be fixed?

SOURCE: invalid format

the comp is set to an unsupported screen res. set it to 640x480 and try again.
