When opening Roxio creator classic error appears: "Cannot Initialize API"
Roxio Version 6.2.0.110
Operating system WinXP sp2
I am unable to open roxio easy media home page. I receive the message
runtime error!
This application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way, please contact the applications support team for more information.
I can use all the help I can get.

1. Try to launch Creator Classic to see if it can repair the engine files. a. Double click on the "Roxio Easy Media Creator Home" icon. b. Click "Creator Classic" under the "Applications" section. c. The Windows installer should launch and ask you to insert your installation disc

a. Double-click on the "Roxio Easy Media Creator Home" icon on your Desktop.
b. Under the "Tools" section, click on "Help Center & Tutorials".
c. The links on the right side of the help frame will launch the appropriate tutorial or
manual.
