Hi, do not have the part numbers handy, but there are 3 small white gears which need to be replaced after you remove the fuser. You can contact metrofuser.com as they have a kit for less than 10.00 that contains all 3 gears. Just tell them you have the f2410 gear noise problem.
This problem can happen because of following reasons :
1. There is some piece of paper / paper clip / sticker stuck inside printer and you are not able to access it. In this case you need to remove all ink cartridges, turn off printer, then turn it upside down and shake it few times. If still not working then you need to open it up as much you can to see if something is stuck
2. Also, you should open up the printer and blow air in it (using compressed air can) to remove all dust. Then take few drops of oil and apply it on the main shaft on which the carriage moves horizontally.
If above doesn't help then the problem is worned out rollers and they need to be replaced. But HP doesn't sell these rollers and there is no set of rollers available that you can buy all together.
You will either have to send it to HP which will be not cost effective or take it to local repair shop. Else you will have to buy those rollers individually from some online store or local store.
Feel free to ask any question or concern you may have. I will be glad to help you.
Thanks for using fixya..
