Hi i recently got a laptop but I have no idea how to connect it to netzero for when I try to connect, a message appears saying error 797. What is a modem and what kind of internet wires are needed?
A modem is a device that allows you to use a voice telephone line to connect your computer to the internet. If you contact NetZero Tech Support, they will send you a CD to run through the setup. The modem connects to the wall with a standard telephone wire. (The ends are known as RJ11)
