This is the REAL answer if you see the 6cf error code it's to do with the plug.

I had the error code 6cf and it took hours to work out what was wrong and it was so simple... the pump unit needs to be plugged straight into the mains plug. Wont go away or work of your using an extension cable.

After I plugged it into the mains plug directly error code disappeared fully working.

Hope this helps people and saves them hours of dread thinking they bought a broken unit.

Very helpful thanks, went into slight panic mode as thought pump was capoot after being in storage for winter and just outside warranty. Great sigh of relief when error code disappeared, thanks again.

If you cant plug straight into the house socket try adding an extra earth from socket your using to a suitable ground spike etc.
    That worked for me

Am getting the 6CF (think its really GCF) error and not using extension lead and have used different sockets all over the house and still no luck. The Lay-Z-Spa error guide says we therefore could have a Grounding/Earthing fault and is probably a problem with the mains supply. Is there an electrician out there that could confirm how much this is likely to cost to rectify please? Thanks.

I have this error too but I have it plugged straight into mains. This is the first I have used it in 2 weeks and had no issues prior to this. Could it be a fuse?

I have tried all sockets in the house, mine came with a 2 pin euro plug.. it seems to be a grounding issue from what I can see from all research however I see there is a step in instructions to ground the actual pump itself, do I simply rewire 2 pin plug to 3 pin plug and ground the pump aswell if so how do you ground the pump

6cf is actually no connection to ground manual page 8. Check your plug and socket, replace extension lead.

SOURCE: layz spa keeps going off says on readout

You have a problem with the RCD (residual-current device). This is the part of the plug that you have to push reset on before a current will flow. You can repair this by buying a new RCD plug and rewiring it or if you already have an RCD socket adaptor for another appliance, you can just cut of the plug on the pod/ pump and rewire it into a rubber plug and then plug this into the RCD adaptor and the lay z spa should no longer cut out. The RCD is important because you do not want to blow the unit inside.
I hope this helps, If you need more assistance, please ask.

SOURCE: leaking lay z spa pump

Firstly try some Fix-a-leak spa leak repair.
If the suspected leak is less than 1/8" that should fix it.
Or remove the paneling to find where it is coming from, there is no easy solution.

SOURCE: laz y spa pump showing e02

I tried lots of things for an E02 including checking flow switches and impellor. Interestingly the hydojets still worked. Turned out heater outflow right inside the pool was blocked by a load of tiny white hard crystals - kust visible through the holes in the cover of the inflow pipe (hard water or water treatment chemical precipites?) cleared these out and all is well again. Hope this helps someone.
