Shutdown problem Hi Experts, I recently installed new ide 160 GB hard disk to my desktop m/c & installed xp os. while installing xp os i came across an BSOD saying turn off the ACPI option & i did it, it worked. After that i installed drivers. Finally when i planned to shutdown the m/c i found that my standby button is not highlighted. I clicked on the shutdown button and it showed m/c is shutting down, after that display went off but i discovered that my cpu is still running. Every time i have to turn off manually. This is really an headache. I updated bios, installed sp3 but still no luck. Motherboard - A7V266-MX(asus). Please someone help me out. Thanks in advance.
