The button the drum stops.When I push the start button the drum starts turning but when I release

I replaced the start button and the door switch and still have the same problem.

It's the start switch on the motor . it might be bad or the spinning weights on the motor shaft may be gummed up with lint
you would have to take out the motor and check out the spinning shaft weights to make sure there clean and move to disconnect the switch when the motor starts.

my guess when you get in there you will find lint ,string and all such stuff all wound up around the shaft keeping the switch from working
