According to pages 34-38 of the installation and operations manual, FL4 is one of the codes that does not automatically reset itself after the fault is repaired. To reset the controller after an FL4 (or 6 or 7), press the "Select" button until the heater is off, wait a minute or two, and then press "Select" to put the heater into "Pool" or "Spa" mode. The heater should then go through the ignition sequence and function normally.
