Pay close attention to key words and phrases. When you have specific questions, you can use what you've learned to refine your search for related videos.
Don't be afraid to experiment, though. Sometimes, it is better just to dive in and give it a try. You aren't going to break anything if you make mistakes...and you may find you learn much faster by doing.

I would start looking at Microsoft's Excel help and how -to pages. I don't know what version of Excel you are running, but below are links to the Excel 2007 how to, and the last one is the link to the Excel 2003 how to. I hope this helps.
