This is the flame sensor on this unit. Your ignitor needs to be replaced

Before we replace a what can be a difficult item, we should check the pressure switch, It's 2 wires and can easily be bypassed for testing, but the most common failure is a dirty filter, it makes high pressure and triggers the safety (pressure switch) you can try running it without the filter installed, as another test.

SOURCE: Hayward H400 heater problem

LO usually indicates low water pressure. Check the pressure in your filter. You may need to backwash. If the filter is to clogged then the water pressure in the heater is so low that it won't activate the pressure switch. While checking the pressure turn the pump off and then on to make sure the pressure gauge is actually working. Also check the pressure coming out of the inlets into the pool. You should be able to tell if you have sufficient water pressure.

Sounds like it could be the flame sensor.

SOURCE: Error code LO

Is the heater installed indoors?? if so you'll need a vent pressure orifice kit.
if not check your water press. (below 18 PSI on filter) Place filter on "recir" if it fires and stays on . it's the pressure.
check to see if all connections a set tight hi-ltd switch wire harness etc.

SOURCE: Hayward H400 Pool heater will not stay lit

"IF" - Hayward Pool Heater Fails to Ignite: the most common reason for this problem is insufficient gas supply. The Hayward heater LED display will show a diagnostic fault code of "IF" which stands for Ignition Failure. Undetected gas pressure problems if not investigated properly may result in unnecessary replacement and servicing of your Hayward Pool Heater.

SOURCE: hayward H400 error code bo

This error means "Bypass Operation". On the back of the control module there are some "dip switches". They have an on or off position. Check switch number 2. Make sure it is in the "off" position. The "on" position is for a remote thermostat.
