Simplex 6100 program/timer. do i program a school bell with delay or timed (tardy bell/dismissal bell)

am trying to program our Simplex 6100 school bell timer. I cannot get the bell to stop ringing after a 3 to 5 seconds. I know it is something simple that I am not doing.
