the default password is password or admin there is also usually a pin size button behind it for resetting to factory defaults

If your existing LAN has DHCP assigned IP addresses, you will be good to go. If you have statically assigned IP addresses, you will need to enter them in manually into the device. Their website has a very good instructional video on the procedures to hook up the devices. It will work with standard cat5,cat5E, or cat6 wiring.

As the vSpace Administrator with access to the vSpace Console, click Devices. Locate the device with the unknown password and right-click to select set/reset password.
