OCR program My OCR program on the Lexmaerk X1185 suddenly stopped working. I have reinstalled using the CD but it didn;t help. I searched the CD and the OCR folder is empty. What am I supposed to do.

You have to install a programe called: ABBY FineReader 5.0 Sprint. Although there are newer editions available, this is the programme that comes with the cd and is available to download free of the net. Hope this helps.

I have one of these myself. I am assuming you mean the main page is gone. I am willing to bet you have had some spyware or malware attack the driver settings in your registry, as well as a faulty cd. Go to lexmark main web site, download the correct drivers for your printer (google lexmark) and download to your harddrive. Save it on a new cd. Run a program like regcure that will allow you to fix registry errors. Now, run antispyware just to be sure, as well as virus check. Housecall is free and really good!!! Fixes all it finds. Uninstall printer. Reinstall with new cd'driver. Happy printing.
