Your Xbox motherboard is having trouble communicating with the Hard Drive. Check cables, this is probably due to an ATA controller on the motherboard and not due to the hard drive itself. (my personal experience, try replacing the hard drive and see how it goes) My recommendation for most is to replace the Motherboard and Hard drive as a pair. I hope this helps a little.
