It sounds like an Add-in is causing a problem.
Disable all Add-ins and try again.
Outlook Help will explain how to disable plug-ins.
Please go ahead and turnoff the personal firewall and try to access the email
Close outlook
delete the follwing registry keys
Start > Run > Regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins

Ok getting back to you guys I found out what the problem was. So if you ever have this problem here you go. For some reason symantec was causing the problem. I just went in and uninstalled symantec and reinstalled it and the problem was fixed. I was working on this for a week and symantec is the problem. I know next year when it comes to renew of symantec I am moving away from them. Going to move to antivir.
